Today let’s talk about the false and fraudulent information that is spreading around us. I don’t know if anyone would question how true or false the media platforms we use every day send us. Does anyone know that we are being manipulated by media and the Internet to control our thoughts and actions? The point is, what causes this phenomenon, is there something wrong with our media platforms?

The interview with Mark Zuckerberg and Kara Swisher was deeply disappointing in many ways. Because Mark is the founder of my favorite media platform, I have always admired him. But the information he revealed in this interview made me feel full of disappointment. While Mark does not forget that Mark has a responsibility to his investors to maximize profits, he forgets that profits made at the expense of the rest of us. He made it not a platform of justice but a medium of public interest. To preserve the interests of the so-called partners, he abandoned the morality of the whole society.

The interview response was an ironic contrast to the post in which Mark himself said he stood for “freedom of speech.”

In the interview of Scott Galloway and Sinan Aral, just as they said, “taking action to control social media in our lives” and “regulate the whole system.” These are from Sinan Aral and Scott discussing his new book called “How Social Media Disrupts Our Elections, Our Economy, and Our Health — and How We Must Adapt.”

This interview sounds very good. I listen to Scoot and Aral in discussing social media’s influence on our society. I benefited a lot from this discussion. The Internet has both advantages and disadvantages for us. We enjoy it bring us to advantage and have the disadvantages of it brings us, is it is easy to be blinded by it spread fraud false news eyes. As I lay in bed, I thought deeply about what they were talking about: “Why are we so easily assimilated ourselves?”. And How can we avoid such problems?

Let us try Aral’s suggestion, schedule specific times of the day for social media, turn off notifications, reduce our distracted thinking. And keep our cool review, which might reduce the amount of “fake news” invading our brains, affecting our everyday consideration.

Fortunately, Because Of my inactivity, I seldom open the social platform to read news or post, so I will rarely be assimilated by fraudulent and fake news. However, people around me will still incorporate me. Therefore, I hope you can try your best not to be confused by wrong information and reduce your sinking into social media.
